The aim of this project was to redesign a kettle by copying the product language of an existing brand company. As a reference product  Mocamaster coffee machine the starting point of this product. Mocamaster is using an additive approach with a primitive form.

Characteristics:
Industrial, bright, looks like something that belongs on a building site. Very prominent first impression. It is eye-catching. Unlike other machines, it isn’t concerned with saving space.​
The product is robust, resistant, masculine, industrial, bright, functional, static. The most prominent feature of this product is simply the colour. Altering the colour drastically shifts the character of this product.

Mode of use:
To understand how a kettle is working and what is the user experience a story storyboard was created. The kettle had displayed all around perceptible affordance.
